This course is designed for those that are nominated by their employer to take control and deal with emergencies that may arise in the workplace.
Those employees required to have First Aid at Work training to comply with workplace regulations. Anyone who desires full First Aid training.

The First Aid at Work course is 3 days and covers a wide range of interesting topics enabling you to become knowledgeable and confident to deal with any first aid incident. This course meets the standards required to comply with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and can be attended over three consecutive days or you can split the course so that it is scheduled 1 day per week over 3 weeks. As long as it is completed within 10 weeks.
If required, the course can be delivered at your work setting. Should you require one of our trainers to deliver this training at your workplace you have the flexibility of starting the course as early as you would like or alternatively you can request a later start on dates of your choice that suit you and your staff. We can even run the courses on the weekends or at night.
Each learner will receive a first aid themed goody bag consisting of; a colourful, comprehensive manual, face shield, various bandages, gloves and first aid leaflets. Each learner will also receive a certificate that will be valid for 3 years.
Assessment: You will be required to successfully complete a short multiple choice paper and will be assessed on your practical skills to qualify for your certificate.
This First Aid at Work course has a mix of theory and practical elements. You will be required to kneel on the floor for some of the practical elements.
Students should be aware that they must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment.
Students must be physically able to carry out the practical assessments detailed in the Course content to achieve the course certificate
